Citygrid is a smart wireless lighting control system that balances the need to minimise energy usage with the needs of the people within the space. Motion detection ensures no energy is wasted. Roads, bike paths and parking spaces remain illuminated at minimum levels when not used.
The system is centered around units, sensors, and, depending on the desired functionality, gateways. The sensors detect traffic and forward the information to light controllers, which in turn control the light level of luminaires. Any neighboring luminaires are notified wirelessly to also act on the presence detection. The light level increases (dims up*) for a defined period of time following the presence detection, and once the defined time has elapsed the luminaires dim down to a base light level. Gateways collect data for analysis and for site optimization, and provide remote access for site configuration and adjustment. The intuitive and easy to use, web-based Dashboard allows the user to perform any configuration task and check for potential fault messages. Citygrid offers a wide selection of different controllers and sensors to accommodate the needs of your desired luminaires and the specifics of your site.
