Once Citygrid Controllers have been added to a site, the Citygrid Portal serves as an interface to the controllers’ data and settings. Get an overview of your project or site, view meta data, consumption and motion data, get error reports, edit configurations, and more.
A good overview is important for efficient management, decision making and troubleshooting. The Citygrid Portal provides two different overviews, a map overview and a list overview.
Navigate around between your different luminaires in the Portals map, and check meta data for the controllers and gateways in the side panel or go to the list view and to quickly scroll or filter through the units. Heatmaps of consumption and motion events are available in the map overview, making evaluation of traffic on the site easily accessible. Unit status messages are indicated on the overview map, making it easy to locate for maintenance.
TALQ is an open standard for smart city solutions. The Citygrid portal includes a TALQ certified API which allows for integrations with City management platforms and other applicable solutions.
The controllers track hourly consumption and motion data. From this data power savings can be estimated. This information is useful in estimating the positive impact of the system, evaluating the configurations, the value of the system in different environments, and in troubleshooting. View data from a site, one luminaire, or a selection of luminaires. The data can be viewed as a graph for easy overview and monitoring or as a list.
The solution we refer to as Plug and Play and Adapt are non-connected. They do not have a gateway and can only display the static location and meta data for the units including hardware and software versions, date of installation, controller type, and the controllers’ configurations. If the configurations or firmware version is changed from the Citygrid App these data updates in the Citygrid Portal as well.
A connected site reports data to our cloud solution continuously, reports error messages and allows for configurations and software updates to be made remotely.
The system detects errors and send status messages that indicates something might not be working as it should with the luminaire or controller. This enables quick detection of faulty luminaires/controllers and messages are displayed on the map overview and site data can be an aid in troubleshooting the issue prior to visiting the site. This access to information support efficient site management.
Use the light management page of the Citygrid Portal to see and edit configurations easily and conveniently. Edit motion control configurations including light intensity, motion intensity, motion time, and motion range. Edit motion groups, color settings, dimming tables and more. This allows you to gradually gain knowledge on the site needs and refine your site settings accordingly.
The Portal is accessed with a personal log-in. We provide different access levels in the Citygrid Portal to fit with different user types.
A log-in is personal to the user and the user is to be granted access to the specific projects. Access can be granted and removed to/from users as needed.
Read more about the Citygrid Portal in our manual. The manual is available for logged in users.
